Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, paying for, or attending any session, programme, event or related service (collectively, the “Services”) offered by Being Yourself (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“Client”) confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Nature of the Services
Being Yourself provides somatic‑inquiry coaching, presence‑based mentoring and related educational resources. The Services are educational and exploratory in nature and do not constitute medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, treatment or clinical therapy. They are not a substitute for professional healthcare. This is educational content and not medical advice. If you have or suspect you have a medical or mental‑health condition, consult a licensed professional.
3. Client Responsibility
You remain solely responsible for your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing before, during and after any interaction with us. You agree to participate voluntarily, to communicate your needs and limits, and to seek professional care where necessary.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
We exclude all warranties, representations and conditions, express or implied, relating to the Services.
Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of profits, personal injury, emotional distress, or any claims arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.
Our total aggregate liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall in all cases be limited to the amount you have paid for the individual Service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
5. Fees, Payment & Cancellation
Fees are stated in United States dollars (USD) and payable in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice will be refunded in full or may be rescheduled at no extra cost. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non‑refundable.
Packages and programmes are non‑refundable once the first session has commenced.
We reserve the right to adjust prices; any change will not affect confirmed bookings already paid.
6. Recordings, Transcripts & Data Storage
Recording consent. By requesting a transcript or written summary, you expressly consent to the audio and/or video recording of the relevant sessions for the purpose of transcription, analysis and provision of additional insight.
Use of recordings. Recordings will be used solely to create transcripts and notes, to inform your ongoing work with us, and for reflective professional practice (e.g. supervision), always in anonymised or pseudonymised form.
Retention. Recordings and transcripts are stored securely for as long as they remain relevant to delivering the Services and our legitimate professional practice, unless you request deletion or the law requires earlier removal.
Withdrawal. You may withdraw consent to future recordings at any time by notifying us in writing. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
7. Confidentiality & Data Protection (PDPA)
We handle your personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
We act as the Data Controller for the information you provide.
Our main purposes for processing are contractual necessity, legitimate interest in delivering the Services, and consent (for recordings).
Data is stored on encrypted devices and reputable cloud services located in Singapore or jurisdictions that provide comparable protection.
We do not share your data with third parties except (a) where necessary to perform the Services (e.g. payment or transcription processors bound by confidentiality); (b) where required by law or court order; or (c) with your explicit consent.
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email now@beingyourself.love.

You may use such materials for personal, non‑commercial purposes only. No part may be reproduced, distributed or exploited without our prior written permission.
9. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, internet outages or government restrictions.
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at https://www.beingyourself.love/terms-and-conditions. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under or in connection with the Agreement.
12. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
